The Footage

In the meantime, check out this footage of our rehearsal that was done last year. This is a new version of the classick song "The Winds" that is now reconstructed to be more heavier, less darker and in a mid-paced tempo without even losing its melancholy and beautiful melodies. Is that a self acclaimed? Not really, I love this song when I wasn't even a Sahujja'Achra member as yet. So there is no such thing as "angkat bakul" okay :) Enjoy it though...

Move The Date

We were making a plan of doing our 2nd jamming session this 27/10/08 - location, The Serpent's Coven (well, it's at Shadow's studio-like-room actually). But I guess that won't happen since I will have my personal appointment that day too. A sudden appointment that will never to be rejected. Blimey, the jamming session is going to be delayed again. It is very typical when everyone is excited, things happen. Hope the others wouldn't mind though, will message you guys later!

No dates are made, I'll try to find suitable times that I'm sure everyone will have their 4-5 hours of free time to do the heavy tones of our songs. Happy revising guys...

Posponed

Naturally, we would do our jamming session once a week. This week won't be any coz Mr Adee is busy with his 3 days course (correct me if I am wrong) at UBD. In fact, I am busy with my personal life too this week. So next week I hope everything is cleared and we will continue the serpents' journey :)

Until the time comes, cheers mates!!

First In 10 Months

Yeap, 15/10/2008 was our first jam since Dec 2007. That was a pretty long gap of not hanging around with each other and doing our songs together. Some inner problems did happen last year; everyone then grew wearied of it. I myself lost interest in kicking my Iron Cobra and smashing my Zildjian to the max.

After all, everyone was busy with life; personals, families, works, other hobbies - you name it. I was busy with other projects, but I did miss playing songs for Sahujja'Achra. We are actually in one BIG mission: to embrace people (that care) with our humble melodies of destructions (whatever you're going to call it though).

Then, months and months of checking each other's schedules, then on 15/10/2008 we finally gathered once again to revise all songs we had created. Of course, Mr Nawir was not around. Not that he didn't want to, not that we'd forgotten him; just he's far from us - he settles in Temburong. He can only be around on Friday and Sunday, or during school breaks.

We're like playing cover songs actually. Pretty much all songs are ours, just that every each of us didn't really familiar with the riffs anymore. Poo...10 months did make a hell lot of different, lol. Nevertheless, what excites me more is that during the revise session, Mr Shadow did find newer riffs to make the songs much sweeter and in the same time, devilish!

My legs were not that fit, I am a bit fat than I was last year. Without proper excersises I am a feeble bastard that need to rework everything all over again, haha. Need to regain back the energy so I could synchronise my double pedals with the rest of the blazing instruments the others play.

Enuff with the numbless chats, maybe I would like to see the rest speak themselves soon :)

A Memoir MMVII

Last jammed together before doing the drum recording in late December 2007. A quartet devoted to their own music

Commencement

That's a year ago, but we haven't change much!

Greetings, this is our official blog. We are Sahujja'Achra, a Metal based band that rejuvenates somewhere in Borneo Island. The purpose of this blog is none other than for some people who know us as the band to get updated news from us aside from our myspace site. But we hope by doing this blog, all updates are more sufficient and it's kind of our journeys to the endless path of evolving Sahujja'Achra as a monicker that stands with strength.

Our first teaming up between us encircled as one again was started like few hours ago, after we stopped jamming and doing recording stuffs for like, 10 months? That was a lot of time wasted but from my point of view, we discovered newer and more fresher riffs; more powerful, more meaningful than the riffs we had 10 months back. I think it's safe to stay slow - slow with profitable ideas in us to strengthen our song structures and ready for a come back with more serious efforts to release our upcoming CD.

Well, enough for now. Will keep this blog alive though! By the way, this blog will be maintained by all three of us. I'm hoping that our other member, Mr Nawir would have his access to this blog too very soon :)

Cheers, Aslan
